Built in 1835 as a Malt House for the local Radford Brewery, The Old Malt House Hotel is now privately owned by Jen & David Beresford. It is situated in the small hamlet of Radford surrounded by beautiful countryside just 6 miles from the historic city of Bath.
From the moment you set foot in the Old Malt House you will be greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and it will be our pleasure to ensure your stay with us is enjoyable and relaxing.
Open from 8.00am until 10.30pm. Guest check in time is from 2.30pm until 10.30pm. Arrivals outside of these hours are acceptable, but please, only by prior arrangement. Rooms must be vacated by 10.30am on the morning of departure. Bills may be prepared on the evening prior to departure for guests wishing to leave very early in the morning. Guests may receive incoming calls to their room during their stay, but please, only during reception opening hours. The Old Malt House Hotel & Restaurant is non-smoking throughout.
The accommodation comprises of 11 tastefully decorated bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bath or shower rooms, colour televisions, direct dial telephones, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryers. All our bedrooms are strictly non-smoking. We have single, double, twin, triple and family rooms.
We are able to provide cots with a little notice and have two extra beds that may be set up in several of our bedrooms if required by larger parties.
Our two twin rooms are located on the ground floor giving easier access for some wheelchairs and our guests who are less mobile.
In the Restaurant we offer a full a la carte menu, We have a comprehensive selection of worldwide wines, all of which are competitively priced. Our restaurant is popular both with hotel guests and local customers alike and we do recommend that you reserve a table at the time of booking your room. We are also happy to serve meals and snacks in our lounge bar.
In the mornings our restaurant becomes a bright and sunny breakfast room. Guests may enjoy a substantial English breakfast from 7.30am until 9.00am.
We are very happy to cater for those with special dietary requirements, but would ask for a little notice.
We have wooden benches sited throughout the gardens, amongst the trees and shrubs. Find a shady nook in which to relax and listen to the bird song and enjoy the countryside views.
With plenty of parking spaces, there is no charge for parking at The Old Malt House Hotel.
The hotel is ten minutes drive from the Park and Ride into Bath, making Bath easily accessible.

Our function room is perfect for family gatherings up to 50 people and business meetings up to 30 delegates. With a terrace and views across to the River Cam, and valley it is a beautiful setting for your function.
We offer two rooms and can cater for 10 to 30 delegates. The rooms have natural lighting and ventilation. A full range of audio-visual equipment is available. Dining facilities, fax, photocopying etc. are available on request. We provide a detailed professional service that will ensure a smooth running conference tailored to your exact requirements.
